International Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearheads the identification of market opportunities, product definition, and strategic planning for a leading automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) cycler and related equipment.
  • Collects and utilizes market research, competitive insights, and user requirements from various global regions, collaborating with regional marketing teams and other customer feedback sources as necessary.
  • Assists in formulating business plans to secure resources for the development and commercialization of new or updated product offerings and market entries.
  • Promotes product innovation with enhanced value propositions aligned with market and business needs.
  • Oversees global strategies for the peritoneal dialysis product portfolio and implements cost-reduction initiatives as required.
  • Conducts competitive analyses to inform global product strategies and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Provides continuous operational support to markets, addressing supply chain challenges, commercial launches, tenders, upgrades, and more.
  • Leads cross-functional initiatives for product commercialization across relevant geographies, ensuring comprehensive internal training for product launches and guidance for regional marketing teams to create effective tools for product introduction and adoption.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related scientific discipline; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Experience in the MedTech industry in roles related to product management, strategy, development, or upstream marketing is preferred.
  • A proven history of collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining development programs, and launching new products is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cohesive, productive teams.
  • Business acumen combined with strong analytical capabilities, along with a flexible and agile mindset for critical and creative thinking.
  • Willingness to work in a diverse, intercultural environment.
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25-30% of the time.
  • Proficiency in both German and English, with very good to fluent speaking and writing skills.
