Located in Munich, the Lead Marketing Strategist is an integral part of the European Marketing Division and reports to the Senior Marketing Director for the Nordic region and Automotive sector, collaborating with business units within Dolby's international framework. This role will engage closely with Dolby's automotive commercial allies, global entertainment pioneers, and innovative leaders to showcase the state-of-the-art Dolby in-vehicle experience and technology to a vast audience.

We are in search of a dynamic and imaginative marketing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a fervor for entertainment and automotive sectors, a robust capability to analyze and pinpoint market dynamics, and the expertise to craft and implement impactful marketing initiatives across diverse entertainment domains.

This position entails a blend of on-site and remote responsibilities, necessitating both domestic and international travel.

Core Responsibilities:

Facilitate B2B and B2C marketing initiatives across digital platforms, retail environments, and content collaborations. Development of marketing materials and promotional items for B2C & B2B audiences. Engagement in local social media management and customer relationship management. Organizing and executing both virtual and in-person B2B and B2C marketing events (exhibitions/festivals/training sessions). Collaborate with Dolby's internal teams (e.g., Sales, Engineering, US Headquarters, other European branches...). Manage partner marketing and cultivate relationships with third-party collaborators across retail, content services, and manufacturers, with a specific emphasis on the automotive sector. Generate performance and return on investment reports. Uphold Dolby's brand prominence and consistency in the marketplace. Monitor competition and market trends through comprehensive research.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline. Over three years of experience in a marketing capacity, ideally within the automotive sector. Proficiency in digital marketing and social media strategies. Strong grasp of the marketing mix (both online and offline). Capability to juggle multiple marketing projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Enthusiasm for partnering with clients and collaborators to create mutually advantageous marketing strategies. A collaborative, articulate, and effective communicator who can forge strong relationships both internally and externally. An innate curiosity and eagerness to explore new business domains. A genuine passion for entertainment, technology, marketing, and consumer insights. Exceptional writing abilities and a meticulous attention to detail. Capacity to work independently (remotely if necessary) with a proactive and hands-on approach. Proficient in English and German; proficiency in any additional European language is advantageous. This role requires frequent travel.
