Key Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing
- Identify and contact potential investment opportunities, leveraging your network and research skills to uncover hidden gems.
- Develop a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, including market trends, competitor analysis, and industry insights.
Deal Evaluation and Due Diligence
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting thorough research, and providing data-driven recommendations to the investment team.
- Support the investment team in analyzing business plans, financials, and market potential.
Investment Process
- Contribute to the development of a robust investment strategy, aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Support the investment team in executing financial transactions, including deal structuring, negotiation, and closing.
Portfolio Support
- Assist in ongoing portfolio management, including monitoring portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Support the investment team in preparing portfolio reporting, including financial analysis, market research, and industry insights.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, and colleagues.
- Passion for startups, technology, and innovation, with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
- Relevant work experience in startups, venture capital, private equity, or consulting, with a strong track record of achievement.
- Currently studying an undergraduate or graduate degree at a top-tier university, with outstanding academic results.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with proficiency in German a plus.
