Key Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing

  • Identify and contact potential entrepreneurs and startups to explore investment opportunities.
  • Assist in evaluating and qualifying deal flow to allocate time to the right opportunities.

Deal Evaluation and Due Diligence

  • Support the investment team in deal flow and business plan analyses.
  • Perform technology and market research, as well as competitor analyses, to inform investment decisions.
  • Participate in pitch meetings with founders to assess investment potential.

Investment Process

  • Contribute to building a data-driven basis for investment decisions.
  • Support in writing investment memos to document potential investments.
  • Assist in executing financial transactions and partnering with new startups.

Portfolio Support

  • Support ongoing portfolio management, including preparing portfolio reporting.
  • Drive initiatives to better serve the growing portfolio.
  • Assist in exit preparations of portfolio companies.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply first-principles thinking.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and self-starter mindset.
  • Collaborative, empathetic, and communicative team player.
  • Passion for startups, technology, and innovation.
  • Practical work experience in startups and/or venture capital, private equity, or consulting preferred.
  • Currently studying an undergraduate or graduate degree with outstanding results at a top-tier university.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with proficient German skills a plus.
