Investment Team Intern or Working Student for UVC

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our investment team as an intern or working student. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture capital and work closely with our experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deal sourcing and evaluation, including identifying and contacting potential entrepreneurs and assessing investment opportunities
- Support the investment team in deal flow and business plan analyses, as well as technology and market research
- Participate in pitch meetings with founders and help with building a solid basis for investment decisions
- Assist in writing investment memos and supporting deal teams in executing financial transactions
- Support ongoing portfolio management, including preparing portfolio reporting and driving own initiatives to better serve the growing portfolio
About You
- You have a strong analytical mindset and are able to apply first-principles thinking
- You have a high level of intellectual curiosity and a self-starter and growth mindset
- You are collaborative, empathetic, and communicative, with a passion for startups, technology, and innovation
- Practical work experience in startups and/or venture capital, private equity or consulting is preferred
- You are currently studying an undergraduate or graduate degree with outstanding results at a top-tier university
- You possess strong written and oral communication skills in English, with proficient German skills being a plus
