Additive Manufacturing Solutions Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Additive Manufacturing Application Engineer to join our team at Nikon SLM Solutions. As a key technical role, you will guide customers on their additive manufacturing adoption journey, from pre-to-post machine sale.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and consult on customer parts, develop business case analyses, and consult on design for additive manufacturing.
- Setup files and documentation for print jobs, print parts, and report results to the customer.
- Provide technical guidance across the additive manufacturing value chain to support the sale of Nikon SLM Solutions products.
- Execute projects for customers from project scoping, proposal, printing, post processing, testing, and reporting.
- Conduct advanced training programs at customer sites and at the headquarters in Lübeck.
- Bachelors or Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years' previous experience, for senior 5+ years post-bachelor's experience in LPBF.
- Desire to train others in the use of additive manufacturing and demonstrated passion for how additive manufacturing is successfully implemented.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several ongoing processes and projects.
- Proven experience with part and data preparation software, such as Materialise Magics, Autodesk Netfabb, or equivalent software.
