The Opportunity

Our organization is embarking on a significant initiative to realign business processes on a global scale, preparing the entire Group for future challenges. Currently, approximately 14,000 employees utilize existing SAP ERP systems, processing over 50 million transactions monthly.

ZEISS is committed to standardizing and streamlining various ERP systems across the Group during the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. Our objective is to align closely with SAP standards and harmonize processes across all segments and regions, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, speed, flexibility, and compliance.

This project presents both exciting challenges and complexities, with FIT4 serving as a crucial component in realizing the Company's strategic goals.

Your Role

  • Oversee regional and segment-specific business requirements for the global SAP S/4HANA template through local fit-gap analyses under the guidance of deputy or hub process owners.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to junior business experts in areas such as requirements analysis and business process modeling.
  • Create process maps and models to depict adapted business processes; drive the adaptation of end-to-end business processes towards FIT4 objectives of harmonization and standardization, collaborating with entity business experts on preparatory tasks, including data cleansing.
  • Design and manage test cases, conducting functional end-to-end tests within the SAP S/4HANA system; assist in defining and executing functional test cases.
  • Actively participate in the roll-in of assigned projects within a region, primarily within a segment, and potentially across multiple segments as directed by the regional hub lead.
  • Support the training lead in developing training materials and, if necessary, conduct end-user training.

Your Profile

  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in business; Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of at least one end-to-end business process (e.g., Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Engineer-to-Order, Service-to-Customer, Plan-to-Produce, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report, and specialized areas like Quality Management or Master Data Management).
  • Demonstrated experience in business requirements management and business process modeling.
  • Familiarity with SAP R/3 and ideally SAP S/4HANA, along with relevant third-party business systems.
  • Industry-specific knowledge.
  • Strong conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  • Aptitude for building networks and a willingness to collaborate in an intercultural and interdisciplinary global team.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
