About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Banking Core Team in Europe. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in providing application support and small enhancements on Avaloq's core platform for our SaaS clients in Europe.

The Banking Core Team covers topics related to financial accounting, cost and fees, legal reporting, and tax. You will work closely with clients and other stakeholders to analyze business requirements, propose and implement technical solutions, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze clients' business requirements and propose technical solutions in close collaboration with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Implement bug fixing and solutions enhancements on Avaloq's core platform.
  • Present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their needs and existing application code.
  • Build trust-worthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, PMs, and Client Managers.
  • Ensure efficient client communication and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
  • Strong proven track record of working in a similar role, ideally in the fintech or financial sectors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent client-orientation and communication skills.
  • Full professional competency in spoken and written German and English.
  • Business know-how in Regulatory requirements (DE, LUX, UK) and reporting or in financial accounting standards is a strong advantage.
  • University degree in Computer Science/Physics/Engineering/Mathematics or comparable education.
