The primary responsibility of the Reporting Operations Manager is to oversee the production and distribution of regulatory and client reports for funds. This includes ensuring that reports are delivered to the appropriate recipients, such as distributors, platforms, and data providers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the filing of reports to regulatory bodies.
- Guarantee that all reports are accurate, consistent, and comply with the necessary requirements.
- Address inquiries from clients and report recipients.
- Conduct data validation, perform sanity checks, and manage the database effectively.
- Provide first- and second-level support for users of the iQuant Platform.
- Assist with the onboarding process for clients and data.
- Monitor the creation and distribution of reports.
- Identify and communicate issues to the Relationship Management Team.
- Support the development of documentation and guidelines.
- Facilitate the implementation of new reports and regulatory changes.
- Possess a commercial education and at least 3 years of experience in financial reporting.
- Have a solid understanding of the asset management sector and its data processes.
- Be able to quickly familiarize oneself with various types of fund reporting.
- Exhibit proficiency in Excel; knowledge of MySQL is advantageous.
- Demonstrate a client-oriented approach, quick learning ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Show a strong interest in the asset management industry.
- Experience in fund accounting is a plus.
- Possess strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are beneficial.
