About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Logistics Manager to join our Supply Chain Management Organization in Europe (UK & EU). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership in logistics operations, transportation, and warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and identify process gaps to develop solutions that enhance logistics operations performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics integration across all Nexperia business units and optimize global logistics costs.
- Establish and manage SOPs for effective freight management and logistics operations from both process and cost optimization perspectives.
- Drive continuous improvement of logistics operations and processes to achieve targets of quality and efficiency.
- Manage 3rd party service providers and ensure efficient operations are executed as per agreement and KPIs.
- Lead the logistics team and be responsible for the functionality and performance of the group work, safety, and maintenance instructions.
- Other responsibilities include inventory management, destructions, compliance with Sox Control, audit management, logistics budgeting, and cost distribution.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, and transportation in an international environment. You should be a functional expert of ERP applications, with knowledge in SAP WM/MM/SD, and possess strong leadership and people management skills. Fluency in English and German is required, as well as excellent communication skills and a high sense of responsibility and perseverance.
