Senior Finance Operations Manager

The Finance Operations Business Partnering (BP) team is on the lookout for a **Finance Manager (m/f/d)** who will play a pivotal role within the global Retail BP team. This position is primarily focused on overseeing finance operations related to the order-to-cash (O2C) processes. Our objective is to minimize and eradicate defects within the O2C process that affect both customers and vendors. We advocate for worldwide enhancements through technology and collaboration with various teams to define, design, and prioritize improvements in the ordering, fulfillment, billing collection, and dispute resolution processes with vendors.

**Key Responsibilities**
You will be an integral part of a team composed of high-performing operations excellence and finance professionals dedicated to driving upstream systems and process initiatives that enhance the quality and accuracy of data for vendor billing. We seek an experienced Finance/Program Manager to collaborate with our upstream business and technical teams to:
- **Drive Program Objectives** – Provide program management to outline project plans, oversee implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation, and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.
- **Scale Services and Tools** – Design processes and procedures that can grow with the business' increasing volume, complexity, and global reach.
- **Define Key Performance Indicators** – Develop metrics and service level agreements for core programs and processes, tracking delivery against program objectives.
- **Collaborate and Build Relationships** – Engage with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and maintain the highest degree of controllership.
- **Negotiate Efficient Processes** – Establish reliable processes and policies across partner teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects.
- **Work Cross-Functionally** – Identify key opportunities in processes, technical aspects, and human interfaces, developing and implementing plans to capitalize on those opportunities while measuring and monitoring success and impacts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
  • Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
  • Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology, or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals through cross-organizational collaboration
  • Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, determining root causes, and creating/implementing escalation plans
  • Experience working with senior staff (e.g., c-suite)
  • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e., SQL, MSAccess, Essbase, or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on ad hoc analyses for strategic decision-making
