The Finance Operations Business Partnering (BP) team is in search of a **Finance Manager (m/f/d)** who will play a pivotal role within the global Retail BP team. This position will primarily focus on overseeing finance operations related to the order-to-cash (O2C) processes. Our objective is to minimize and eradicate defects within the O2C workflow that affect both customers and vendors. We advocate for worldwide enhancements through technology and collaboration with various teams to define, design, and prioritize improvements in the ordering, fulfillment, billing collection, and dispute resolution processes with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be an integral part of a team composed of high-performing operations excellence and finance professionals, driving upstream systems and process initiatives that enhance the quality and accuracy of data necessary for vendor billing. We seek an experienced Finance/Program Manager to collaborate with our upstream business and technical teams to:
- **Drive Program Objectives:** Provide program management to outline project plans, oversee implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation, and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.
- **Scale Services and Tools:** Design processes and procedures that adapt to the business's growth in volume, complexity, and global reach.
- **Define Key Performance Indicators:** Develop metrics and service level agreements for core programs and processes, monitoring delivery against program objectives.
- **Collaborate Globally:** Build relationships with system and business owners worldwide to ensure process excellence and the highest level of controllership.
- **Negotiate Efficient Processes:** Establish reliable processes and policies across partner teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects.
- **Cross-Organizational Collaboration:** Identify key opportunities in processes, technical, and human interfaces, developing and implementing plans to capitalize on those opportunities while measuring and monitoring success and impacts.
- Experience in applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- Proficiency in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
- Experience in creating process improvements through automation and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivots, lookups, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals through cross-organizational collaboration.
- Ability to identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, and create/implement escalation plans.
- Experience working with senior leadership (e.g., c-suite).
- Familiarity with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MSAccess, Essbase, or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on ad hoc analyses for strategic decision-making.
