As a pivotal member of our organization, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Supplier Content and Data Management, guiding your Category Structure team to enhance and sustain the Visable taxonomy.
  • Provide Leadership to a developing team, focusing on achieving its primary objectives: establishing and upholding a coherent, multilingual, B2B-centric Category structure.
  • Oversee Project Management, ensuring that all initiatives are executed effectively, meeting both quality benchmarks and deadlines.
  • Encourage Continuous Improvement within your team, sharing insights across the organization to highlight the significance of the category structure.
  • Support Team Development by offering constructive feedback, fostering skill enhancement, and promoting career advancement.

Qualifications We Seek

  • A degree in computer science, linguistics, journalism, humanities, information management, library management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in team management or leadership.
  • Experience in managing taxonomies and metadata models, with operational knowledge in category system design.
  • A commitment to excellence in both results and people management.
  • A focus on maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and availability.
  • The ability to balance immediate business needs with long-term quality considerations.
  • Fluency in German, with strong written and spoken English skills; additional language skills (especially French, Spanish, or Italian) are a plus.
