Job Title: EHS Director

We are seeking an experienced EHS Director to lead our Environmental Health and Safety team in Marburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our EHS strategy, promoting a culture of safety, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS strategy that aligns with our global and local business objectives.
  • Lead and develop the EHS team, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to support our business goals.
  • Identify and mitigate EHS risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective EHS management and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to promote a culture of safety and ensure employee awareness of EHS policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or environmental science.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS, including experience with regulatory inspections and compliance.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of developing and implementing successful EHS strategies.
  • Experience in a matrix organization and in a GMP or biologics production environment is highly desirable.
