The Leadership Communication and Engagement Director (m/f/d) is a pivotal position at Fresenius Medical Care within the Global Communications team. This role is essential for enhancing the engagement of our executive leaders on a global scale. Fostering a cohesive community and ensuring alignment across various business units is vital for keeping our leaders informed about the strategic vision and priorities of the organization.
In this capacity, you will:
- Lead the global engagement initiatives for our executive leaders by utilizing various forums and communication strategies to cultivate a sense of community and alignment across the organization.
- Design and execute a comprehensive communication and engagement strategy, including a detailed roadmap and calendar tailored for this target audience.
- Coordinate high-level virtual and in-person events for senior executive leadership, collaborating with the Campaigns & Events team and other stakeholders to set agendas and develop content.
- Encourage digital community participation among this audience.
- Provide consultation and guidance to executive leadership regarding their enterprise-level communications.
Your qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree; an Advanced Degree is preferred or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate, employee, or business communications.
- Demonstrated ability and comfort in engaging with and advising top executive leadership.
- A proven history of achieving results in comprehensive and/or change communication roles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Creative problem-solving skills, particularly in developing innovative communication strategies in a dynamic business environment.
- Excellent proficiency in English writing; proficiency in German is an advantage.
- Outstanding planning and organizational skills, with the capacity to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
- An innovative mindset, eager to develop and test new ideas and approaches to enhance engagement.
- A significant ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt work plans as necessary.
