Position Overview

We are seeking a Staff Data Analyst (all genders) to enhance our BI and Marketing Analytics (BIMA) team as we strive to provide exceptional experiences. This role operates on a global scale, collaborating with our brands across numerous countries while executing strategies from our headquarters.

BIMA is integral to the Global Marketing team, focusing on centralized BI and marketing analytics. Our mission is to propel marketing initiatives through data-driven solutions and strategic insights, ensuring sustainable growth. We undertake strategic projects such as customer segmentation, marketing ROI analysis, and support C-level executives in making informed decisions across various brands and regions.

The Staff Data Analyst will play a crucial role in refining our marketing strategies through insightful data analysis and advanced analytics. This position will work closely with marketing leaders, product teams, data science professionals, and regional analytics teams to evaluate marketing performance and enhance our acquisition and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage analytics to deliver actionable insights regarding marketing performance.
  • Develop and execute A/B testing and other experimental frameworks to evaluate marketing initiatives.
  • Construct tools, KPI frameworks, and reports to assess the ROI of marketing expenditures, continuously monitoring and optimizing spend across various channels.
  • Analyze and enhance customer segmentation to inform targeting strategies in local markets and boost customer retention.
  • Create statistical models to forecast customer lifetime value, assess customer acquisition costs (CAC), and utilize analytics to lower CAC while increasing LTV.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and establish global guidelines for data collection and utilization.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, particularly focused on user retention within technology-driven consumer-facing organizations.
  • Strong expertise in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Python/R).
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with A/B testing, attribution modeling, and various experimental design methodologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies, including CRM, paid search, social media, and content marketing.

Additional Information:

  • Experience in agile development and methodologies is a plus.
  • Educational background in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, business, or related fields (BS, MS, or PhD).
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing naming conventions and tagging strategies to ensure data consistency in a global organization, along with experience in market mix modeling.
