Lead Engineer for Construction Tools

Job Overview:

  • In this role, you will serve as a technical authority within our organization, providing support for the application, maintenance, training, and enhancement of Construction IT systems from a user-centric viewpoint.
  • Your focus will be on systems associated with assembly planning, subcontracting, and the execution of construction and assembly, which includes tracking costs, schedules, and quality, as well as managing process interfaces with Engineering, Procurement, and Logistics.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing processes and supporting IT systems such as Construction Management Platforms, Material Management, Progress Monitoring, Quality Control, and more.
  • Collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as other departments and Linde Engineering offices globally, will be a key aspect of your role.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a technical, scientific, or business-related discipline.
  • At least ten years of experience in mechanical assembly, piping, welding, and material management.
  • Additional expertise in Electrical & Instrumentation, Construction/Steelwork, or Subcontracting is a plus.
  • A blend of user knowledge and strong IT skills in Client Server, Databases, SQL, and Data Analysis.
  • A solid understanding of work processes, along with analytical skills and the ability to think in terms of data/process flows.
  • Fluency in English and a willingness to travel as required.
