In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with evaluating expenditure data, uncovering cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to realize these savings within your designated Business Unit. Your responsibilities will encompass the execution of global savings initiatives and the management of projects on an international scale. Key focus areas will include enhancing budget efficiency, generating savings, optimizing payment terms, and consolidating vendors.
Core Responsibilities:
- Partner with procurement analytics and finance teams to scrutinize spending patterns and pinpoint savings opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison between global initiatives and business units, ensuring alignment with overarching strategies.
- Execute global category management strategies to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead projects aimed at enhancing efficiencies, generating savings, and consolidating vendor relationships.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and external partners to oversee and manage expenditure.
- Assess the effectiveness of procurement strategies and recommend enhancements for improved efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Finance and/or Procurement.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, a change management mindset, and strategic acumen.
- Proven experience in project management, negotiation, and decision-making.
- Results-oriented with a commitment to self-improvement and adaptability.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in English.
