Satellite Systems Integration Engineer

Role OverviewAs a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the procurement process for the Satellite Control Center of our satellite constellation. Your expertise as a Satellite Operations Systems Implementation Engineer will be crucial during the procurement phase, where you will collaborate with various technical teams to ensure seamless integration of operational infrastructure and software for our satellites. You will take charge of significant activities related to system verification tests (SVTs), system operational validations (SOVs), and operational simulations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the SCC Prime to ensure the successful integration and acceptance of the SCC Cloud Infrastructure and operational software.
- Develop comprehensive test procedures for Ground Level and System Level test campaigns, including SVTs and SOVs.
- Assist in defining and implementing the testing and validation environment for the SCC.
- Work closely with Ground Segment and System teams to organize and execute integration, verification, and validation (IVV) activities.
- Identify verification methods for SCC requirements and carry out verification activities.
- Review and create mission documentation, including test procedures, software manuals, and operational reports.
- Engage in testing, simulation, and rehearsal campaigns.
- Provide operational preparation support for Launch and Early Operations Phase (LEOP) and Routine Operations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the space industry.
- Experience with CI/CD tools integration and operations.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure integration and maintenance.
- Experience in database management.
- Software development and scripting experience.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adopt a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
