About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales to lead our commercial strategy in Germany. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing trade investment, and maximizing product mix to achieve financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for the German market, leveraging your expertise in sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including major German retailers and distributors.
  • Lead cross-functional business teams to drive sales performance, P&L, and supply metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive efficiencies and enhance performance.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture that supports achievement of market disruption and rapid growth.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of at least 4-5+ years in senior sales or commercial leadership roles within the consumer goods industry, preferably in confectionery.
  • Major German retailer and distributor experience required.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate messages across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have strong leadership capability, including the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams, while holding stakeholders accountable to deliver on business objectives.
