The Finance Operations Business Partnering (BP) team is in search of a Finance Manager (m/f/d) who will play a pivotal role within the global Retail BP team. This position is focused on providing essential business support to oversee finance operations related to order-to-cash (O2C) processes. Our team is dedicated to minimizing and eradicating defects within the O2C process that affect both customers and vendors. We champion global enhancements through technology and collaboration with various teams to define, design, and prioritize improvements in the ordering, fulfillment, billing collection, and dispute resolution processes with vendors.
Key Responsibilities
You will be an integral member of a team composed of high-performing operations excellence and finance professionals aimed at driving upstream systems and process initiatives that enhance the quality and accuracy of data necessary for vendor billing. We are seeking an experienced Finance/Program Manager to collaborate with our upstream business and technical teams to:
- **Drive Program Objectives** – Provide program management to outline project plans, oversee implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation, and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.
- **Scale Services and Tools** – Design processes and procedures that adapt to the business's growth in volume, complexity, and global reach.
- **Define Key Performance Indicators** – Develop metrics and service level agreements for core programs and processes, tracking delivery against program objectives.
- **Collaborate and Build Relationships** – Work with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and maintain the highest level of controllership.
- **Negotiate Efficient Processes** – Establish reliable processes and policies across partner teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects.
- **Cross-Organizational Collaboration** – Identify key opportunities in processes, technical, and human interfaces, developing and implementing plans to capitalize on those opportunities while measuring and monitoring success and impacts.
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- Experience in constructing financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
- Experience in implementing process improvements through automation and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivots, lookups, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals through cross-organizational collaboration.
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, determining root causes, and creating/implementing escalation plans.
- Experience collaborating with senior staff (e.g., c-suite).
- Experience utilizing large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MSAccess, Essbase, or Cognos) and providing recommendations based on ad hoc analyses for strategic decision-making.
