Position Overview

We are seeking a driven Entrepreneur in Residence (m/f/d) to join one of our innovative portfolio companies and assist in shaping its market entry strategies. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our portfolio company's essential services are optimized while having the chance to engage in various strategic initiatives.

Join our portfolio company: Established in 2021 and headquartered in Berlin, this company operates a groundbreaking marketplace that transforms one of the largest supply chains globally. Their mission is to unlock the immense potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market by offering global access to premium products through their state-of-the-art platform. Since its inception, the firm has operated discreetly, successfully serving numerous clients without public exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the founding team to develop the market entry strategy
  • Evaluate and enhance category management in partnership with the procurement team
  • Assist the founding team in refining, optimizing, and expanding the Supplier Management System
  • Investigate new product and customer segments to plan and execute innovative growth strategies alongside the Sales Lead
  • Design a sustainable roadmap for the Supply Chain
  • Streamline existing processes across all departments while establishing new operational procedures
Candidate Profile
  • Prior experience in competitive fields such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or high-growth startups
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen interest in emerging technologies
  • Versatile generalist with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Passionate about growth startups and committed to transforming the construction industry with an international team
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities
  • Hands-on approach, driven by the desire for implementation
  • Capable of engaging directly with customers, suppliers, partners, and investors, taking the initiative to contribute
  • Solid academic background in Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Fluent in both German and English

We are looking for support in our portfolio company's Berlin office. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
