Service Technician in Helpdesk Track and Trace

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our Helpdesk Track and Trace team at Wipotec, a leading global provider of intelligent weighing and inspection technology. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing remote technical support to our customers, partners, and internal teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our Track and Trace systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to customers, partners, and internal teams via phone, email, or remote desktop sessions.
  • Document customer complaints and issues in our call management system.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to our Track and Trace systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technical solutions.
  • Perform on-site technical support for customers, partners, and internal teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field with a focus on mechanical engineering.
  • Relevant work experience in a technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • High level of travel flexibility, including international travel.
  • Excellent English language skills, with additional language proficiency a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B or 3).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on proactive communication and problem-solving.
