Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our Helpdesk Track and Trace team at Wipotec, a leading provider of intelligent weighing and inspection technology. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing remote support to technicians, partners, and customers in resolving issues with Wipotec control scales, weighing kits, metal separators, and Comscale installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote technical support to resolve issues with Wipotec products
  • Document customer complaints in the proAlpha call system
  • Analyze calls to identify areas for improvement
  • Initiate improvement projects based on problem analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects
  • Provide on-site support to technicians, partners, and customers as needed

Requirements:

  • Completed education in Mechatronics, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on mechanical engineering
  • Relevant work experience is an asset
  • High travel readiness, including international travel
  • Excellent English language skills, with additional languages a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Valid driver's license (class B or 3)
  • Strong quality awareness, with a focus on self-organization and task execution
  • Excellent customer orientation, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
