THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you prepared to take on the responsibility of ensuring compliance for cutting-edge Indoor Mobile Mapping Devices and influence their market success?

In the role of Senior Product Compliance Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in electronics and hardware, along with your compliance and testing experience, to oversee the entire compliance process for our products, ensuring adherence to global regulations and standards.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • You will manage the complete product compliance lifecycle from initial development through to external testing, including the formulation of detailed testing strategies.
  • You will contribute to the enhancement of our global market access strategy, addressing regions such as the EU, USA, Australia, Japan, and China.
  • You will ensure that all products meet international regulations and standards, covering areas such as Product Safety, Radio & EMC, RoHS, REACH, and more.
  • You will develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, test plans, and protocols throughout the development phase, as well as compliance procedures.
  • You will collaborate closely with designers, software and hardware engineers, and management to define requirements, execute test campaigns, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • You will serve as the vital link between product development and the delivery of a fully compliant mass-produced device, significantly impacting quality, reliability, and overall product success.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in product compliance and testing engineering, with a solid understanding of international regulations.
  • Familiarity with global radio frequency requirements and testing protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of EMC standards (e.g., IEC, EN 55032) and product safety regulations (e.g., IEC).
  • Proven track record in developing and executing testing strategies and methodologies.
  • A methodical and analytical mindset towards testing and documentation, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to evolving project demands and timelines in a dynamic development environment.

What would be even better?

  • Prior experience with RF module and antenna approval processes.
  • Hands-on experience with EMC testing and troubleshooting both in-house and with external laboratories.
  • Experience in testing for Ingress Protection Codes.
