Trade Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute trade marketing plans aimed at boosting sales and enhancing brand presence within the distribution network, showcasing marketing ideas for physical point-of-sale initiatives.
- Leverage a comprehensive understanding of retail performance metrics, consumer pathways, and retail requirements to customize marketing efforts that align with our retail partners' needs.
- Collect insights on products, campaigns, and sales for launches, and develop detailed briefs for the creation of marketing tools (such as displays, promotional materials, and activations).
- Oversee the production process to achieve set performance indicators, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
- Facilitate technical development and prototyping within budgetary limits, working in tandem with both internal and external collaborators.
- Partner with International Marketing to enhance global brand and product representation.
- Ensure close collaboration with category Marketing teams to maintain alignment with category goals, while regularly visiting retail locations to deepen expertise and gain practical insights.
- Aid in the establishment and management of worldwide online Trade Marketing standards, processes, and content.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of pertinent international experience in trade marketing, brand marketing, or retail design, ideally within the consumer goods and lifestyle sectors.
- Profound knowledge of retail performance metrics, consumer pathways, and retail requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in leading freelancers and external agencies, particularly in retail design and production.
- Exceptional project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
- A strong passion for all facets of retail, combined with a commitment to executional excellence and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with online trade marketing is advantageous.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, willing to challenge conventional practices with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in English, with the ability to cultivate relationships with external partners and corporate stakeholders; proficiency in German is a plus, but not essential.
