Job Title: Project Manager Manufacturing Processes
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery of components, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular on-site monitoring of production processes at suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery of components.
- Creating and monitoring deadline tracking lists to avoid delays and optimize throughput times at the supplier.
- Creating daily status reports to identify risks and potential for improvement to eliminate weaknesses.
- Interface between project manager, procurement manager, quality manager, and scheduler to define and track critical materials, equipment, and documentation.
- Monitoring the current production situation and initiating short-term measures to operationally secure agreed delivery dates.
- Applying common QM methods and test procedures to analyze quality-related problems and developing concepts and solutions for accelerations.
- Advising suppliers in the area of BOPe and BOPm (mechanical and electrical components in a power plant) and supporting them in case of emerging problems and deficits.
- Supporting the supplier in the preparation of acceptance tests and inspections.
- Supplier development with reference to new manufacturing methods, alternative production methods, preparation of quality documents, and carrying out CIP processes with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Intensive travel activity, with 85% of travel within Europe and 15% internationally.
- German and very good written and spoken English.
- Other European languages are an advantage.
