Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Forestry Specialist to join our team. As a Forestry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the processing of our forestry data, including app onboardings of new customers, forest inventory analysis, and management plan suggestions.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high-quality and timely deliveries across all product offerings, including Climate Projects, Carbon Feasibility Studies, Forest Inventories, and App Onboardings.
- Data Evaluation: Evaluate, understand, and process external data for high-quality forest analyses using internally developed tools and methods.
- Results Presentation: Present forest inventory analysis results to customers and help them develop conventional and Climate Project-determined forest management plans.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Forestry and GIS Specialists, Forestry Partner Management, and the Tooling Development Team.
- Process Optimization: Define and continuously optimize operations processes with a focus on forestry knowledge-based topics.
- Education: Studies in forestry engineering or management, preferably with practical experience in Forestry Sciences.
- Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in the field of forestry, with a focus on forest management and strategic forest management planning.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical skills with an affinity for data.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with proficiency in German and English for domestic and international customer appointments.
- Prior Knowledge: Ideally prior knowledge in German forest inventory methods and procedures.
- Climate Protection: Contribute to climate protection with your work and ensure that forests can realize their full potential.
- Employee Development: Participate in regular internal training courses and use a budget of €1,000 per year for external training opportunities.
- Flexibility: Organize your working hours individually and use our mobile and office culture, with the opportunity to work half of your working hours in the Mobile Office and also work from abroad for up to 6 weeks.
