Position Overview

We are in search of a Project Director (m/f/d) to oversee significant Data Centre construction initiatives. This role serves as the primary client liaison, ensuring that client goals are not only achieved but surpassed, while delivering projects within established timelines and budget constraints, all while adhering to high standards of quality, sustainability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
As the Project Director, you will:

  • Lead a diverse team, driving performance through various project phases including design, permitting, procurement, and construction.
  • Manage overall project execution, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Oversee project controls and preconstruction activities.
  • Implement Environmental, Health & Safety protocols.
  • Ensure quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Handle commercial management and claims resolution.
  • Facilitate procurement processes and project execution support.
  • Guide project close-out activities.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A university degree in a construction-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering major projects, specifically within the Data Centre sector.
  • Previous roles as Project Director or Construction Director in a PMC, EPCM, or Construction Management environment, or as a General Contractor.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies and controls.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven approach to teamwork.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior management.
  • Fluency in English, with at least a B1 level of proficiency in German.
