Epidemic Risk Solutions Intern

Your Role
- Assist in underwriting operations within the Epidemic Risk Solutions team.
- Gather and evaluate loss data from diverse markets and sectors.
- Develop compelling presentations for both external and internal audiences.
- Facilitate project management and coordinate efforts across various business units, partners, and clients.
- Conduct market analyses, company evaluations, and review key performance indicators, including annual reports.
- Provide economic insights and project management support to create insurance solutions for both private and public sector transactions.
Your Qualifications
- For the Underwriting internship: pursuing an advanced Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, mathematics, risk management, business administration, or related fields, preferably with a focus on (re)insurance.
- For the Project Management internship: currently enrolled in a relevant degree program in business administration, project management, public health, or similar disciplines, ideally with a focus on (re)insurance.
- For the Epidemiology internship: ongoing Master's studies in epidemiology, medicine, public health, biostatistics, or related fields, ideally with a focus on (re)insurance.
- Enthusiasm for exploring epidemiological and (re)insurance subjects.
- Prior experience in business development, project management, epidemiology, or insurance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A background in (statistical) data analysis is appreciated but not required.
- Detail-oriented with a structured and organized work approach.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and skilled in MS Office applications.
- Open-minded, meticulous, self-motivated, and capable of working collaboratively in a team setting.
Note: Students from non-EU countries must possess a valid German residence/work permit.
