We operate B2B solutions and have long-standing partnerships with major financial institutions.
About the Role
We are seeking a Risk Management Intern to support our operational risk and incident management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring risk and incident reporting, quality review and challenging of existing and new processes, monitoring implementation of mitigating actions, and reconciliation of incidents. The role will also involve supporting control testing, including identifying control gaps and assisting the 1st Line of Defense in defining corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Support operational risk and incident management, including risk and incident reporting, quality review, and challenging of existing and new processes.
- Support control testing, including identifying control gaps and assisting the 1st Line of Defense in defining corrective actions.
- Support the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) process, performing punctual processes reviews.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of new management and reporting tools in the context of Financial Risk Management.
- Support the preparation of the ICAAP and ILAAP, as well as stress testing concepts and conducting stress testing activities.
Requirements
- Studying towards a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Available for at least 3 months.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (experienced level VBA, macros).
- Strong ability for risk-oriented analysis and comprehensible presentation of complex issues.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities.
- Concise verbal and written communication skills in English, German language is advantageous.
