Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk Management Intern to join our team at Scalable Capital. As a Risk Management Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our operational risk and incident management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational risk and incident management, including ensuring risk and incident reporting, quality review and challenging of existing and new processes, monitoring implementation of mitigating actions, and reconciliation of incidents.
- Support control testing, including identifying control gaps and assisting the 1st Line of Defense in defining corrective actions.
- Support the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) process, performing punctual processes reviews.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of new management and reporting tools in the context of Financial Risk Management in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of the ICAAP and ILAAP as well as stress testing concepts and conducting stress testing activities.
Requirements
- You are studying towards a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- You are available for at least 3 months of internship.
- You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (experienced level VBA, macros).
- You have a strong ability for risk-oriented analysis and comprehensible presentation of complex issues.
- You are able to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities.
- You have concise verbal and written communication skills in English, and German language is advantageous.
