Overview
We are seeking a skilled "Project Manager Development Electronics & Software (f/m/d)" for our "Smart Sensors" division located in Oberkochen. This division specializes in the development of advanced imaging, active, and warning sensors, which operate across the visual to infrared spectrum for various civilian and military applications.The "Sensor Electronics and Hardware" team is tasked with the electronics and software aspects of these innovative sensors. Other teams within the division handle technical management, optical and mechanical design, along with sensor measurement technology.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead project management as a technical sub-project manager in the development phase.
- Oversee quantity structures and monitor budgets effectively.
- Establish and maintain a network of service providers.
- Manage the awarding of subcontracts both internally and externally.
- Supervise external development services and organize necessary reviews.
- Conduct time, deadline, and cost management.
- Assist in executing internal reviews as part of the development process.
- Coordinate development services with purchasing, quality, production, documentation, logistics departments, and involved system engineers.
- Prepare for and participate in customer acceptance tests and trials.
- Act as an interface to internal electronics and software development as well as relevant system-related development departments.
Your Qualifications
- Completed technical studies, preferably in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Project management certification is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in project management, ideally within an agile framework or development projects.
- Proven experience working with national and international subcontractors.
- Strong background in collaborating with internal customers and partners.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP.
- Demonstrated independence, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills and a persuasive demeanor.
- Willingness to take responsibility, ability to work collaboratively, and strong motivation.
- Fluent in both German and English.
