Shape the Future of Cloud Solutions

As a Cloud Platform Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-based products and services. You'll be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality results and seamless user experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative full-stack applications, encompassing both front-end and back-end functionalities.
  • Take ownership of features from inception to completion, collaborating with a dynamic Agile team to achieve shared objectives.
  • Implement robust testing strategies to guarantee the reliability and performance of your code.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment, staying abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in cloud development.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 2+ years of experience in cloud software development.
  • Proven expertise in agile methodologies and a passion for open-source solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Java; familiarity with languages such as Scala, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go is highly desirable.
  • Experience with backend frameworks like Spring Boot (preferred) or Node.js.
  • In-depth understanding of web API practices, including REST, OpenAPI Specification, GraphQL, OData, and JSON.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience managing cloud services and familiarity with cloud delivery tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of CNCF technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and HELM.
  • Proficiency in frontend development with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and familiarity with SAP UI5, React, or Angular.
