Key Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Full Stack Developer at Rhesis AI GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in the development and expansion of our AI-centric platform. Your duties will encompass:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and responsive web applications that engage with AI models and data pipelines.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to merge front-end and back-end components with AI systems for a seamless user experience.
  • Enhancing data pipelines and systems to manage real-time and near-real-time data for effective AI model deployment and inference.
  • Architecting and implementing cloud-native solutions to guarantee the platform's scalability, performance, and security.
  • Engaging in the complete development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging web technologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining our systems at the forefront of innovation.
  • Contributing to product innovation and strategic planning by proposing creative solutions to complex challenges and enhancing platform usability.
Qualifications

You will excel in this position if you possess:

Essential Skills

  • Full stack development expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue for the front-end, and Python or Java for the back-end.
  • Robust experience with database technologies: SQL and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.), including schema design and optimization.
  • Proficiency in cloud services: Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including deploying and managing web applications in a cloud environment.
  • API Development: Skill in building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data communication between front-end and back-end services.
  • Containerization and orchestration: Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to automate development workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD: Implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines for efficient and rapid deployments.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience integrating AI/ML models into web applications, ensuring optimal performance and usability for end-users.
  • Familiarity with MLOps or DataOps tools and principles to streamline model deployment and operations within the platform.
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark, or Databricks) for constructing robust data pipelines.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Understanding of DevOps principles to enhance cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment strategies.

  • Strong software engineering foundation: Capability to design, build, and maintain intricate web systems from the ground up, ensuring they meet high standards of performance and scalability.
  • System design and problem-solving skills: Proficient in deconstructing complex problems into modular, scalable solutions.
  • Proficiency with modern development practices and tools: Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and container-based development.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native development: Implementing scalable solutions in GCP, AWS, or Azure environments.
  • Agile methodology: Experience working in agile teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.
