Information Security Risk Management Expert

Area of Expertise:
As a vital member of the central Information Security 2nd Line of Defence team, you will operate within the Chief Risk Officer domain of Deutsche Börse Group. This role is essential for providing independent oversight and monitoring of information security practices. Within the IS Risk team, your contributions will enhance all 2nd line of defence processes that articulate the organization's information security risks.
Key Responsibilities:
You will assist in the upkeep, enhancement, and ongoing refinement of the Group's 2nd line information security risk management framework and processes to ensure their sustained effectiveness. You will carry out assessment and monitoring activities to guarantee that information security risks are identified, evaluated, managed, and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide constructive challenge to the 1st line of defence functions. You will play a role in monitoring and reporting the status of information security and associated risks to senior management and relevant committees. You will oversee risk treatment measures to ensure compliance and effectiveness. You will guide colleagues in Deutsche Börse Group entities in the implementation, support, and execution of the information security risk management framework and processes.Candidate Profile:
You possess a university degree in a relevant discipline. You have accumulated three to five years of experience in a related information security management position, preferably within a financial services environment. You have comprehensive knowledge of regulations such as BAIT, MaRisk, CSSF Circulars, and a solid understanding of industry frameworks and standards including ISO 2700x, ISF SoGP, or COBIT. You are well-versed in IT Security solutions and have a strong grasp of current trends in information security management and governance. You exhibit excellent analytical abilities, creativity, critical thinking, and the capacity to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
