Overview of the Role:
As a key member of the central Information Security 2nd Line of Defence team, you will be situated within the Chief Risk Officer domain of Deutsche Börse Group. This role is crucial for providing independent oversight and monitoring of information security practices. Within the IS Risk team, your contributions will be vital to all 2nd line of defence processes that articulate the information security risks faced by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the upkeep, enhancement, and ongoing refinement of the Group's 2nd line information security risk management framework and processes to ensure their sustained effectiveness.
- Execute assessment and monitoring tasks to guarantee that information security risks are identified, evaluated, managed, and communicated to pertinent stakeholders.
- Provide constructive challenge to the 1st line of defence functions.
- Contribute to the monitoring and reporting obligations regarding the status and risks of information security to senior management and relevant committees.
- Participate in the oversight of risk treatment measures.
- Guide colleagues in Deutsche Börse Group entities in the implementation, support, and execution of the information security risk management framework and processes.
Candidate Profile:
- A university degree in a relevant discipline.
- Three to five years of experience in a related information security management position, preferably within a financial services environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulations such as BAIT, MaRisk, CSSF Circulars, and a strong understanding of industry frameworks and standards including ISO 2700x, ISF SoGP, or COBIT.
- Familiarity with IT Security solutions and a solid grasp of current trends in information security management and governance.
- Exceptional analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking, and the ability to identify challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both English and German.
