Job Summary
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the on-time and cost-optimized procurement of spare parts and individual parts according to drawings and external work processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure spare parts and individual parts from suppliers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from request for quotation to order processing and supplier query clarification.
- Collaborate with internal interfaces, such as order management, service desk, and shopfloor.
- Support the supplier search, evaluation, and selection process.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers at the position level.
- Contribute to the implementation of a modern supply chain management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical studies or equivalent experience.
- Relevant professional experience in technical purchasing in a metal processing industrial company.
- Service-oriented and customer-focused, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and assertively negotiate prices.
- Experience with MS Office and advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent written and spoken German, with confident English skills.
