We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Vinyl Record Press Operator to join our team at OBJECTS Manufacturing Oberspree GmbH. As a Junior Vinyl Record Press Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining production standards, meeting quality targets, and contributing to the success of our vinyl pressing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Operate vinyl record pressing machines in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines, ensuring optimal production output and adhering to quality standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough visual and audio inspections of pressed records to identify and address any defects or imperfections, such as surface blemishes or audio discrepancies.
- Material Handling: Load vinyl pellets, labels, and sleeves into the pressing machine, ensuring proper alignment and distribution, and monitor material levels to prevent production interruptions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including settings logs, run times, and any issues encountered during the pressing process, and communicate effectively with shift leads and supervisors to report production status and any potential issues.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on pressing machines to ensure they remain in good working condition, and clear any jams or blockages promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues, and report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel immediately.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in vinyl production (not required but a plus)
- Familiarity with operating machinery and basic mechanical principles
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- A permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week
