Your Role as a Forklift Operator
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods within a dynamic logistics environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping packages for loading and ensure proper securing during transport.
- Load and unload cargo onto trucks and containers, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records of goods received and shipped.
- Collaborate with the shipping department to optimize cargo space planning and delivery schedules.
- Provide training on loading safety protocols to other team members.
Your Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics and handling operations within a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification and a Class B driver's license are essential.
- Strong understanding of loading codes and regulations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in a two-shift environment.
