Position Overview
As a pivotal member of our team, the Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in the enhancement and maintenance of our information security management framework. This position is essential for ensuring adherence to data protection regulations and overseeing our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance and sustain our information security management system in alignment with DIN 27001 and ISO 20243, guiding the organization through both internal and external assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other pertinent data protection regulations in collaboration with the data privacy officer.
  • Administer, evaluate, and refine our GRC and internal control frameworks.
  • Oversee modifications to our organizational structure and process landscape.
  • Manage existing customer and partner contracts while supporting the development of new agreements.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree in Business Administration, Commercial Apprenticeship, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an organizational capacity, preferably within the IT sector.
  • Strong knowledge or practical experience in information security, data protection, GRC, and internal control frameworks.
  • Extensive experience in managing industry certifications and standards, particularly DIN ISO, along with initial exposure to conducting internal and external audits.
  • Familiarity with industry guidelines, amendments, and trends related to data protection.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A high level of motivation, adaptability, and the capacity to work autonomously.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
