E.ON Digital Technology GmbH is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our DevOps transformation journey. As the Head of DevOps Coaches, you will be responsible for providing leadership and strategy to our team of Scrum Masters and DevOps coaches.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps transformation strategy that aligns with our transition to a cloud operating model.
- Mentor and coach team members and leaders on DevOps best practices, providing necessary tools and knowledge.
- Lead cultural initiatives to support the transition to product-centric and cross-functional team structures.
- Implement and refine DevOps processes, establish metrics and KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and report on progress.
- At least 8 years of experience in software development or IT roles with a strong focus on DevOps practices.
- A minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience, ideally managing teams of similar size and complexity.
- Proven experience in leading DevOps transformations within large organizations, with demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, prioritize tasks, and manage complex situations effectively.
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, containerization, monitoring and logging, and cloud-native development.
- Full flexibility to work from home or any other place in Germany, with the option to go on workation for up to 20 days per year within Europe.
- 30 holidays per year, plus Christmas and New Year's Eve, with the option to exchange parts of your salary for more holidays or take a sabbatical.
