Savory Flavor Development Specialist

Your Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled Savory Flavorist to join our team at Silesia International GmbH (Holding). As a key member of our flavor creation team, you will be responsible for developing new and innovative savory flavors for various markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new savory flavors, either proactively or based on customer projects, considering legal and customer requirements and company policies.
  • Lead customer and internal projects related to flavor creation, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, driving innovation and growth.
  • Support the upscaling of flavors upon request, ensuring seamless production and quality control.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute presentations for internal and external clients.
  • Visit customers upon request, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Provide technical training to customers and internal teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Participate in defining and executing innovation projects, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Support other departments on flavor creation-related topics, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Savory Flavorist with expertise in developing savory flavors for various markets. Your profile should include:

  • Expertise in developing savory flavors for various markets.
  • Expert knowledge in raw materials relevant to savory flavors.
  • Good knowledge about reaction flavors.
  • Very good understanding of relevant legislations (EMEA).
  • Willingness to travel (on average less than 20%).
  • Good understanding of analytical data and methodologies and how to apply it for daily work.
  • Good understanding of flavor-relevant production methods.
  • Expertise in developing flavors for different encapsulation technologies.
