Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Human Resources Specialist (m/f/d) to support our client in the field of personnel management.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for addressing and resolving HR-related queries and concerns from employees and management across designated areas
  • Build strong professional relationships with management to enhance coaching and assess workplace challenges, providing effective solutions
  • Oversee employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations within assigned areas
  • Assist in managing the employee performance evaluation process for designated teams
  • Utilize leadership development resources to ensure the growth needs of assigned teams are met
  • Conduct training and development sessions as necessary
  • Collaborate with management and the Talent Acquisition team to fulfill staffing requirements for assigned departments
  • Organize and facilitate orientation for new hires as required
  • Handle relevant HR documentation including contracts, employment verification, work hours, and benefits for all assigned areas
Your qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is essential
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit a high level of personal and professional integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, as well as ERP systems
  • Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday is advantageous
  • Understanding of local labor laws and regulations is required
  • Knowledge of local benefits programs is preferred
  • Experience in employee relations and employment law within Germany
  • Be part of a global HR team providing support across various countries (EMEA)
  • Fluent in German and English is mandatory; proficiency in French is a plus
  • Report directly to the Director of Human Resources for the EMEA region
