About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and developing our management systems in accordance with ISO 27001. Your expertise will be essential in providing guidance and support on compliance and information security matters, as well as aligning business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures in line with ISO 27001 standards
- Provide expert advice on compliance and information security matters to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to ensure data security and implement corresponding measures
- Coordinate all compliance activities to meet legal and operational requirements, as well as customer demands
- Update and expand internal training materials on information security, quality management, and data protection, and oversee employee training
- Prepare and conduct risk- and process-oriented audits
- Plan and manage measures to adapt and improve the integrated quality and information security management system
- Take responsibility for ISO and BSI certification projects, including preparing relevant documentation
- Conduct effectiveness reviews of the management system, including internal audits
- Prepare management evaluations
- Maintain and update QM and ISM documentation, as well as the document management system DocSetMinder
- University degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics or equivalent professional qualification
- 2-3 years of experience in internal audit or revision, preferably in the IT sector
- Knowledge of information security, data protection, and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and BSI IT-Grundschutz is an asset
- Knowledge of geheimschutz is desirable
- Excellent user skills in MS Office
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and organizational talent
- Excellent teamwork and self-motivation skills
- Enjoy working with customers and have a high service orientation
- Self-reliant and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent German language skills and good English language skills (desirable)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
