Position Overview – Cloud Technology Architect
As a prominent figure and key contributor within our consulting practice, this senior-level role delivers exceptional quality and innovative leadership in solution design to project teams. You will oversee the design and implementation phases of engagements, ensuring that integrated software solutions meet high standards within defined timeframes and budgets.
Role Responsibilities
In collaboration with a team of Architects and Consultants, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and workshops with both technical and business stakeholders to illustrate the value of Oracle's Cloud Stack. Collaborating closely with clients, addressing both technical and non-technical aspects to deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. Engaging with clients to ensure their service requirements are fulfilled and that deliverables align with Oracle's high-quality benchmarks. Leveraging deep customer insights to provide a competitive edge. Demonstrating commercial awareness when advising clients. Continuously enhancing your knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within the rapidly evolving Cloud landscape. Actively participating in the internal community and contributing to the development of Consulting Intellectual Property by sharing knowledge, experiences, and materials related to delivery. Building and maintaining strong relationships with the product management team.Qualifications and Skills
Your passion, expertise, and customer-focused approach will be instrumental in our goal to become the leading cloud provider globally.
A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in designing and implementing solutions primarily based on Cloud architectures (Private or Public, including OCI, AWS, Azure, and Google). Strong understanding of Cloud Services design and delivery models: IaaS & PaaS. Hands-on experience with databases. Interest in technology topics such as Cloud, Virtualization, and Grid. Professional demeanor and attitude. Quick learner with strong self-motivation. Excellent problem-solving, planning, and self-management abilities. Experience in defining and implementing conceptual solutions. Willingness to travel primarily within Germany and Austria. Candidates should be located within Germany or Austria, with preferred locations being major cities. In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas is essential: OCI, OSC, or other vendors like Azure, AWS, or Google Database Cloud Services, Cloud automation tools, and networking concepts.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle Golden Gate. Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.Desired Attributes
Results-oriented mindset during client interactions, with the ability to identify quick-win solutions based on client needs. Comfortable developing and presenting solutions to both IT and business users using appropriate communication styles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
