Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Big Cloud. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for developing cloud strategies and implementing scalable cloud architectures for our product suite.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Provide expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud architectures that scale effectively for our products
  • Enhance cloud infrastructure to improve performance, reliability, and security of our ecommerce products
  • Cross-collaborate with existing teams of engineers and scientists to sustain cloud-based solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging techniques and areas of technology to advance our internal infrastructure (CI/CD)
  • Experience creating and managing infrastructure automation
  • Work with a tech stack including AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science or a related field
  • Experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
