In this esteemed senior consulting role, you will be recognized as a key authority and contributor within your field, delivering exceptional quality and innovative leadership to project teams. You will oversee the design and implementation phases of engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, integrated software solutions while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
Responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with a team of Architects and Consultants within the consulting practice. Your dual focus will involve participating in projects aimed at achieving delivery objectives, as well as developing solutions and offering best practices regarding the architectures and product technologies deployed, whether they are on-premises, in the cloud (public or private), multi-cloud, or hybrid infrastructures.
As a versatile Cloud Architect specializing in the design and delivery of next-generation cloud solutions, your duties will include:
- Conducting assessments and workshops with both technical and business stakeholders to illustrate the value of Oracle's Cloud Stack.
- Collaborating with clients, addressing both technical and non-technical aspects, to deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Engaging with clients to ensure their service requirements are met and that deliverables align with Oracle's high standards of quality.
- Leveraging deep customer insights to provide a competitive edge.
- Demonstrating commercial insight when advising clients.
- Continuously enhancing your knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services in the fast-evolving cloud landscape.
- Actively participating in the internal community and contributing to the growth of the Consulting Intellectual Property asset library by sharing knowledge, experiences, and materials related to delivery.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the product management team.

Essential Skills/Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated experience in designing and implementing solutions, primarily based on cloud architectures (Private or Public, including OCI, AWS, Azure, and Google).
- Proficient understanding of cloud services design and delivery models: IaaS and PaaS.
- Experience with databases and hands-on technical skills.
- A keen interest in technology topics, including cloud, virtualization, and grid computing.
- A professional demeanor and attitude.
- Ability to learn rapidly and a strong sense of self-motivation.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and self-management abilities.
- Significant experience in defining and implementing conceptual solutions.
- Willingness to travel primarily within Germany and Austria.
- Candidates should be located within Germany or Austria, with preferred locations including Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, or Vienna.
- In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas is essential: OCI, OSC, or other vendors such as Azure, AWS, or Google Database Cloud Services, cloud automation tools, and conceptual understanding of networks, firewalls, VPNs, or gateways.
Additional Skills/Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate is advantageous.
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies is a plus.

You will exercise judgment and business insight in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to project teams and effectively influence customer leadership on key decisions. Supporting business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise and resolving complex customer issues through recommended solutions. Demonstrating expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or the ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products will be essential, as will making decisions based on impact across the technology stack.
