Report Development Specialist

Join Projektron GmbH as a Report Development Specialist with a focus on BIRT technologies. This role is available in various locations and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a bridge between clients, consultants, and software developers
  • Utilize BIRT Report Designer to create detailed reports
  • Engage with clients through our integrated ticketing system
  • Collect and analyze customer requirements
  • Design and implement custom reports using the BIRT Report Engine for Projektron BCS
  • Oversee the maintenance of standard product reports

For those with the requisite knowledge, there may be opportunities to support the development team in managing the integrated BIRT Report Engine.

Required Qualifications
  • Solid educational foundation in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Windows/Linux, and XML
  • Experience in report generation using BIRT
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle customer interactions
  • Self-motivated and committed to quality work
  • Proficiency in German (B1 level or higher)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with server administration (e.g., Apache Tomcat)
  • Development experience in Eclipse/BIRT
  • Familiarity with Java programming
  • Good command of the English language
