Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Graduate Development Program candidate to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Sales Graduate Development Program, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Sales Team: Collaborate with account managers to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, ensuring the successful management of company products and services to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Coordinate Sales Processes: Align sales efforts with approved sales and marketing plans, working closely with account managers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop Selling Skills: Participate in sales, product, and systems training, as well as marketing campaigns and special projects, to develop the necessary skills to succeed in sales.
  • Assist in Negotiations: Support sales managers in negotiations with customers, including the preparation and follow-up of sales quotations.
  • Provide Sales Updates: Regularly update team leaders and management on sales numbers, working closely with supported sales managers.
  • Maintain Customer Database: Effectively use customer relationship management software (CRM) to maintain and expand the current customer database.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Molecular Biology is preferred, or equivalent experience within Life Sciences is acceptable.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 required).
  • Skills: Excellent time management and prioritization skills, strong communication skills with customers and colleagues, ability to thrive in a successful team and adapt to a constantly evolving business environment, positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or other customer-facing roles is advantageous, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
